Born in 1987 in Vienna I developed a strong affirmation to nature during my childhood, being always on the road and discovering the most beautiful places of Austria and Europe. At the age of four I got my first camera and became fascinated by documenting my life. Due to the age of digital photography I bought my first DSLR in 2008 and keep on pushing my limits of photography since then. In the meantime my love to nature led me to various remote places of the earth – such as Swaziland, Mongolia, Siberia, Greenland etc. – always seeking for the next adventure. As caving is one of my most favourite outdoor hobbies, I’ve taken part of international caving expeditions, always trying to connect it to photography. Though I’m not just restricted to outdoor photography. During my studies of civil engineering I’ve led the photo department of the student newspaper of my university and did a lot of people and documentary photography. As a musician I’ve also been interested to portrait the activities of my fellow bands during concert photography or for their album artwork.
My commercial work specialises on reportage photography about nature/adventure and agricultural topics. But as to be seen in my portfolio, I’m not only restricted to that and bring versatile skills on a broad variety of photography.
